HIGH-END ART FOR ALL
The art world has been an intimidating, inaccessible place for too long. That’s not our style, so we set out to do things differently. We cut out the expensive middleman, ditched the stuffy gallery vibe, and made our work easily available online—so everyone can experience the joy of being a collector.
We want our collectors to have the best of the best. That means putting insane attention to detail and a ton of love into every piece.
From the most shimmering lucite frames to the finest Belgian linen, we put only the finest materials into everything we make.
Any piece you purchase at Hapi Art is custom made to order, hand-crafted by skilled artisans at the top of their game.
To ensure your art makes a statement, we offer unique, eye-catching touches like neon frames and crystallized embellishment.
LOVE IT GUARANTEE
We want you to be thrilled with your purchase. We’re here to help with anything from art selection to hanging tips to make sure of it.
Since she was a little girl, Kristi Kohut wanted to be an artist—it just took her awhile to believe it was possible. Kristi was several years into an advertising career when, in 2007, she took the gutsy leap to pursue her lifelong dream. From the moment her brush hit that first canvas, she knew she had found her calling.
After honing her craft for several years, Kristi started to put her work out there—taking an unconventional approach by connecting with collectors directly on Instagram, rather than traditional artist channels. Her joyful, colorful pieces exploded online, eventually evolving into the popular studio known as Hapi Art.
Kristi’s work has been featured in over 70 publications, including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and World of Interiors, and purchased by entrepreneurs, Hall of Fame athletes, and magazine editors across four continents. In addition to managing Hapi Art, Kristi still produces original fine art and commissions (but make your requests early—she’s booked nearly a year in advance).
When she isn’t in her Chicago studio, you can find Kristi hanging out in Lake Delavan, WI with her husband, son, bulldog, and a few yoga mats.
