

Known for her fearless use of color and unexpected materials, contemporary artist Kristi Kohut creates richly layered works that explore color, pattern, material, and dimension.
Inspired by the beauty and complexity of the natural world, her work brings together painting, collage, photography, drawing, and dimensional elements in compositions that feel vibrant, luminescent, and full of discovery.

INSIDE THE STUDIO
Working from her studio, Kristi combines original illustrations, photography, vintage printed materials, hand-cut collage, painting, and dimensional elements to create richly layered works of art. Inspired by the beauty and complexity of the natural world, her process begins with collections of color, paper, photographs, sketches, and found materials spread across the studio.



BEYOND THE CANVAS
Kristi’s work extends beyond the canvas into large-scale installations, interiors, textiles, and surface design—bringing her distinctive language of color, pattern, and material into new spaces and forms.

THE KELLY CLARKSON SHOW
Featured throughout all seven seasons (2019-2026), original artwork by Kristi Kohut became part of the visual identity of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Installed throughout the Celebrity Green Room and additional production spaces, the collection created a vibrant, welcoming environment for celebrity guests, cast and crew. Kristi also appeated twice on-air as a featured artist. Following the show's conclusion, NBCUniversal retained the collection for continued display at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
