This original work is part of Kristi's Symphonic Atlas series. It's easy to see nature's hand in this series, inspired by snapshots like the swirls of vibrant agate rock, wavy patterns in natural land formations, and cross-sections of pink, sorbet, and midnight blue swirls and crystals. These works are created on acrylic or often iridescent acrylic with layered swirls of mixed media, followed by a coating of resin, cut glass glitter and crystals. It's a combination that creates a luminous, interactive effect, drawing you in every time you walk by.
